The Role

We are currently seeking a Quality & Compliance Engineer to be based at either our Bournemouth or Teesside base. 

This role is directly for ensuring continued accreditation to the requisite Aviation Regulations, allowing successful delivery of Customer requirements while also providing a technical, regulatory and international standards focal point for all areas of Draken Europe.

Key Responsibilities

Provision of Compliance assurance and monitoring for all technical capabilities in accordance with:

• UK Part M / Part CAMO

• UK Part 21 Sub Part G

• UK Part 145

• MRP 145

• UK Part 147

• EASA Part 147

• BCAR A8-23

• BCAR A8-25

• Provision of Compliance assurance monitoring for all Business Management System activities in accordance with ISO 9001:2015.

• Performance of internal compliance audits against Civil and Military regulatory requirements as identified in the audit schedule.

• Performance of internal compliance audits against international standards as identified in the audit schedule.

• Performance of external supplier audits against Civil / Military / international standards as identified in the audit schedule.

• Management of non-conformances raised from audit – assuring effective and timely remedial action.

• Management of the personnel authorisation system.

• Management and development of relevant expositions in support of the accountable manager and nominated post holders.

• Management of the company component capability list.

• Monitoring of regulatory legislation and international standards, ensuring timely review and update to company documentation.

Experience / Qualifications

• Formal aviation engineering qualification – Required.

• Internal or lead auditor qualification – ISO 9001 or suitable equivalent – Required.

• Excellent knowledge of Civil and Military aviation regulations – UK CAA, MAA, EASA, FAA, MAOS – Required.

• Excellent knowledge of industry standards – ISO 9001 – Desirable.

• Relevant Civil and Military aviation experience – Required.

• Experience in performing audits within the Civil and / or Military aviation environment – Required.

• Experience in safety management systems – Desirable.

• Experience in quality management systems – Required.
